dear peeps :)there is an upcoming series of workshops organized by SYFC (Singapore Youth for Christ) during dec :) it will be very fun and enriching cos u get to learn how to share the Gospel with your friends through many different ways and you'll get to make new christian friends too! so yup i encourage you all to go. by "you all", i mean the younger youths, from sec 4 and below. for the older youths, you can join the leadership workshop (which sounds equally exciting!!) alright here are the details. pls tell me if u are interested on sunday :)
date: 7-9th December,
time: 1.30pm-6:30pm (thurs, fri) & 10am-4.30pm (sat) for just say it electives
7.30pm- 9:30pm for leaders' trail
venue: st andrew's cathedral
Just Say it Electives (choose three, one for each day)
1. say it with your hands: Gospel tool (p6-sec 2)
2. say it to a friend: the Bible: A Christian's Make Believe? (p6- sec 2)
3. say it to a skeptic: Basic principles (sec 2- post sec)
4. say it through our passion: Games (sec 2- post sec)
5. say it with your heart and mind: the heart of an evangelist (sec 3 to post sec)
6. saying it to my new sec one friends (p6)
(of cos the age ranges are only recommended. dont have to really stick to them!)
the cost is $15 for student and $20 for adults
Leader's Trail (7:30-9:30pm, 7 to 9th dec, same place)

night one 7 dec
1.forerunners series part 1: learning abt the motivation of paul in the work of the Gospel
2.youth trends: closing the gap between the youths you want to minister to and yourself. learning abt what goes through their minds.
3.the Gospel through OT narratives: what does the OT tell us about Jesus?how does it pt man to salvation?
night two 8 dec
1.forerunners series part 2: learning the principles of paul in the work of the gospel
2.reaching youth at risk: for youth leaders and pastors with a heart for the youth at risk
3.the Gospel through the parable of Jesus: how can we use the parable to explain Christ to non Christians and Christians who are not sure of the gospel?
night three 9 dec
1.forerunners series part 3:the leadership of paul in the work of the gospel
2.reaching chinese students in spore (conducted in mandarin): for youth leaders and pastors who plan to start an outreach among the chinese students
3.challening the youth to share the gospel:learning to challenge the youths to bear testimony and to grow, serve and to enable others
note: the forerunner series come together.
admission for the leaders' trail is free.
ok peeps please think abt it and i really encourage you all to sign up cos i think it will be good for your personal growth too and since evangelism is lacking in yf :) yays. dont ask God whether you should or should not go, cos God is asking whether you are willing to take out some time just to learn more abt serving Him.
